Is Geek Bar Root Beer Coming Back?

Yes. Root Beer is part of the next Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K release for the U.S. market. It is not Geek Bar’s first Root Beer: the flavor previously appeared on two Meloso devices, and neither has been available at JellyPuffs for some time. The Pulse X 2 version is the first Geek Bar Root Beer built on a dual-mode, 50,000-puff device with a 1000mAh rechargeable battery and an 18mL tank.

Root beer has been hard to find across the board. The Root Beer flavors we carried from Spaceman are sold out as well, which is why the Pulse X 2 release matters: it puts a classic soda flavor back on a current, high-capacity Geek Bar. What Will Geek Bar Pulse X 2 Root Beer Taste Like?

Geek Bar has not released tasting notes for the U.S. Pulse X 2 Root Beer. Our listings for the earlier Geek Bar Root Beer described sweet root beer notes, light spice and a smooth finish, a classic soda-fountain profile rather than a fruit blend. Based on that, here is what to expect from the new version:

• Inhale: sweet, rounded root beer with vanilla-leaning soda sweetness.
• Mid-draw: the darker, lightly spiced root notes that separate root beer from cola.
• Exhale: a smooth, creamy soda finish.
• Ice: not confirmed. Both earlier Geek Bar Root Beers were listed without ice. We will mark the Pulse X 2 listing Iced or No ice from the box.

Root Beer vs Cola Slush: both are soda flavors, but they are built differently. Cola Slush, already on the Pulse X 25K and coming to the Pulse X 2, is a sweet, fizzy cola with a cool slush-style finish. Root Beer should be smoother and creamier, with spice in place of cola’s citrus bite. All 10 New Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K Flavors

These are the 10 flavors in the new Geek Bar Pulse X 2 50K wave. Geek Bar has not published notes for the U.S. versions, so the profile column describes what each name points to, using Geek Bar’s existing versions where they exist. Ice levels are confirmed on each listing at launch.

Pink Berry Lemonade is the one flavor in this wave you can order today: it is already on our Pulse X 2 lineup, with sweet pink berry over lemonade and no ice. Cola Slush moves up from the Pulse X 25K, so expect the same cola profile with twice the puff rating. Strawberry Watermelon Splash is a separate flavor from the current Strawberry Watermelon, which is iced; we will confirm whether the Splash version keeps the cooling.

All 8 New Geek Bar Pulse 2 25K Flavors

The Geek Bar Pulse 2 25K gets 8 new flavors, led by fruit blends and two lemonade-style profiles. As with the Pulse X 2 wave, ice levels are confirmed at launch.

Triple Berry is already one of Geek Bar’s best-known berry blends: on the Mate 60K it runs strawberry, raspberry and blueberry with no ice, and our Triple Berry Geek Bar review covers that version in detail. Strazz Lemonade builds on Geek Bar’s Strazz (strawberry and raspberry) by adding a lemonade base, and Rocket Pop follows the familiar cherry, lime and blue raspberry layering we already carry from Syntrix. Strawberry MTN is the hardest to call from the name alone; we will update this guide once we taste it.

The two waves land on different hardware. Root Beer, Cola Slush and Grape Jelly are Pulse X 2 only; Triple Berry, Rocket Pop and Strazz Lemonade are Pulse 2 only.
