Crazy Melon is a triple-melon blend from the Geek Bar Pulse 15K Zodiac Edition — honeydew, cantaloupe, and watermelon combined into a single profile with a subtle icy finish. Unlike most melon disposables that lean hard on watermelon alone, Crazy Melon builds its profile across all three fruit characters, each contributing a different sweetness and texture to the draw. This review maps exactly how the flavor works across Regular and Pulse Mode, breaks down each melon’s role in the profile, and covers everything you need to know before buying.
1. Flavor Identity
Crazy Melon is a melon-forward fruit profile with a light, natural icy finish. The icing here is subtle — closer to the coolness of a refrigerated fruit salad than the sharp menthol of a dedicated ice flavor. It is not a menthol vape in the way that Cool Mint or Icey Mintz are; the cool sensation serves to keep the melon notes clean and refreshing rather than to dominate the draw.
The flavor belongs to the Zodiac Edition of the Geek Bar Pulse 15K, sometimes labeled as “Virgo Crazy Melon” in zodiac-themed branding. The device and e-liquid specs are identical to all other Zodiac Edition flavors — what changes is the flavor profile itself. It runs at 5% (50 mg/mL) salt nicotine and uses the same Geek Bar Pulse 15K dual mesh coil hardware.

3. The Three Melons: Roles in the Profile
Each melon in the blend contributes a distinct flavor character. Understanding how they interact explains why Crazy Melon reads as layered rather than flat compared to single-note melon profiles.
🍈 Honeydew
The dominant note on the inhale. Honeydew brings a creamy, mellow sweetness with a faint floral quality. It provides the smooth, rounded character that makes the profile feel sophisticated rather than candy-loud. The lightest of the three in terms of intensity, but it sets the profile’s overall character on the first draw.
🍈 Cantaloupe
The richest and densest note — present most strongly on mid-draw. Cantaloupe adds a warmer, more concentrated sweetness than honeydew and gives the profile its depth. It prevents the blend from tasting thin or watery. The combination of honeydew and cantaloupe is what distinguishes Crazy Melon from straightforward watermelon-only profiles.
🍉 Watermelon
The lightest and freshest of the three — contributes most on the exhale. Watermelon adds a juicy, slightly aqueous quality that brightens the heavier honeydew-cantaloupe mid-draw. It also carries the subtle icy cooling character into the exhale, tying the refreshing finish together cleanly.
4. Full Draw-Sequence Profile
Mapping the flavor across the full draw with the mode set to Regular and airflow at a moderate setting. At Pulse Mode the intensity of each stage increases — see Section 5 for mode-specific guidance.

5. Regular Mode vs. Pulse Mode
The physical switch on the bottom of the device controls which mode fires. Both are available at any time during a session. For Crazy Melon specifically, the mode choice meaningfully changes how the flavor expresses itself.
🌊 Regular Mode — 15,000 puffs
- Smooth, consistent draw from start to finish
- Honeydew note leads cleanly on inhale
- Cantaloupe and watermelon develop gradually across the draw
- Subtle icy finish is present but gentle
- Best for all-day carry — flavor doesn’t fatigue over sessions
- Maximizes device lifespan at full 15,000 puffs
⚡ Pulse Mode — ~7,500 puffs
- Higher wattage — denser, warmer vapor
- All three melon notes amplify on inhale simultaneously
- Cantaloupe richness becomes more prominent mid-draw
- Icy cool finish on exhale is noticeably stronger
- Better for sessions when you want peak intensity
- Cuts device lifespan roughly in half
Recommendation for Crazy Melon: Regular Mode is the better daily choice for this profile. The melon blend is naturally well-balanced, and the gentle icy finish reads cleanest without additional wattage. Reserve Pulse Mode for moments when you want a more intense hit — two or three puffs in Pulse then switching back to Regular is a useful approach for resetting the flavor after long sessions.
6. Who Crazy Melon Is For
✓ Good fit if you…
- Prefer natural fruit sweetness over candy-bright profiles
- Want a melon vape that isn’t just watermelon
- Like a light icy finish that refreshes without overpowering
- Vape all day and need a non-fatiguing profile
- Prefer smooth, MTL-style draws in Regular Mode
- Have tried watermelon-only profiles and found them one-dimensional
✗ Not the best fit if you…
- Want an aggressively iced or heavy menthol profile
- Prefer candy-loud, saturated sweetness (try Blue Rancher or Sour Straws on the Pulse X)
- Want a citrus or tropical-acidic profile (try Lemon Heads or Sour Mango Pineapple)
- Need a dessert or cream character (try Strawnana or Orange Cake)
- Want maximum puff-per-dollar value — consider the Pulse X 25K at $23.99 for 25,000 puffs
7. How It Compares to Similar Profiles
| Profile | Crazy Melon (Pulse 15K) | Watermelon Ice (Pulse 15K) | Meta Moon (Pulse 15K) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Melon type | Honeydew + Cantaloupe + Watermelon | Watermelon only | Tropical mixed (mango, pineapple, citrus) |
| Sweetness | Mellow, natural, layered | Bold candy-sweet | Sweet and tangy |
| Ice level | Subtle — light cool finish | Firm menthol exhale | Moderate menthol finish |
| Complexity | Three-note layered profile | Single-note, consistent | Multi-note tropical blend |
| All-day viability | Excellent — doesn’t fatigue | Good for iced-fruit fans | Good for tropical fans |
| Best mode | Regular Mode | Regular or Pulse | Regular Mode |
| Available at JellyPuffs | Zodiac Edition | Pulse 15K collection | Pulse 15K collection |
Among the melon profiles available on the Geek Bar Pulse 15K, Crazy Melon occupies a specific space: more flavor complexity than Watermelon Ice, less tropical acidity than Meta Moon, and a much gentler icy finish than both. It’s the choice for vapers who want melon without the menthol commitment.
8. Tips for Getting the Best Flavor
Four practical points that apply specifically to how Crazy Melon performs across the device’s lifespan:
- Start in Regular Mode. The triple-melon balance is calibrated for the lower output of Regular Mode. Pulse Mode amplifies the profile but the subtlety of the honeydew note can get buried under the increased vapor density.
- Use moderate-tight airflow. A slightly closed airflow concentrates the cantaloupe mid-draw character, making the flavor feel richer. Fully open airflow dilutes the sweetness and makes the profile taste thinner than it is.
- Recharge before the battery drops below 30%. Voltage sag in the final 30% of the battery reduces output on the dual mesh coil — the honeydew and cantaloupe notes flatten first, leaving only the watermelon’s lighter character. A fresh charge restores the full three-note profile.
- Two-to-three second draw, not fast puffs. A slightly longer, slower draw lets the cantaloupe’s density develop through the mid-point of the pull. Fast, short puffs deliver mostly the honeydew inhale without the full profile sequence.
9. Frequently Asked Questions
What does Geek Bar Pulse Crazy Melon taste like?
Crazy Melon is a triple-melon blend — honeydew on the inhale, cantaloupe on the mid-draw, and watermelon on the exhale with a light, subtle icy finish. The sweetness is natural and mellow rather than candy-bright. It is not a heavily iced or menthol-forward profile — the cool character is more like a refrigerated fruit salad than a dedicated menthol vape.
Is Crazy Melon iced or menthol?
Crazy Melon has a subtle cool finish — technically iced, but at low intensity. The watermelon exhale carries a light, natural coolness that refreshes the palate without the sharp menthol typical of iced-fruit profiles like Watermelon Ice. Vapers who dislike heavy menthol generally find Crazy Melon’s icy finish comfortable; dedicated menthol vapers may find it insufficient on its own.
How many puffs does the Crazy Melon Geek Bar Pulse deliver?
Up to 15,000 puffs in Regular Mode from 16 mL of e-liquid. Switching to Pulse Mode reduces this to approximately 7,500 puffs — the higher output fires both mesh coils simultaneously, consuming e-liquid roughly twice as fast.
Which mode is better for Crazy Melon — Regular or Pulse?
Regular Mode is recommended for this flavor. The triple-melon profile is naturally balanced and the honeydew’s mellow character reads best at lower output. Pulse Mode amplifies all three melon notes and strengthens the icy finish, which can work well in short sessions or as a flavor-reset — but it halves the device lifespan and the subtle layering of the profile becomes less distinct at higher wattage.
What edition is Crazy Melon? Is it available in Pulse X?
Crazy Melon belongs to the Geek Bar Pulse 15K Zodiac Edition, sometimes labeled “Virgo Crazy Melon.” The flavor is also available in the Geek Bar Pulse X 25K in some markets — the Pulse X delivers 25,000 puffs in Regular Mode and has a curved display screen and adjustable airflow as additional hardware features.
Is the Geek Bar Pulse 15K rechargeable?
Yes. The 650 mAh battery is rechargeable via USB-C. A charging cable is not included. The smart LED display shows battery and e-liquid levels in real time. Charge when the LED shows low battery rather than waiting for full depletion — voltage sag near empty reduces output and flattens the melon flavor profile.
How does Crazy Melon compare to Watermelon Ice?
Watermelon Ice is a single-note watermelon with a firm menthol exhale — bold, direct, and heavier on the ice. Crazy Melon uses three melon varieties with a much softer cool finish — the sweetness is more layered and the icy element is subtle. Watermelon Ice suits dedicated menthol-fruit vapers; Crazy Melon suits those who want fruit complexity without a strong ice commitment. Both are available on the Geek Bar Pulse 15K.
